George Gavalas grew up in a big Southern Greek family — where each dish was made with love and shared over stories. Surrounded by the smells of a slow-cooked meal and sounds of a full kitchen, he developed a passion for cooking, creating, and bringing people together.

After years of lessons learned in his grandmothers’ kitchens, George refined his skills and techniques in some of Atlanta’s top restaurants, including King + Duke. From cooking over a wood-fired hearth, to sourcing ingredients from local farms, each experience deepened his appreciation for honest food, connection, and craftsmanship.

Now, with a deep love for hospitality and storytelling, George crafts intimate, chef-driven experiences to bring people to the table.
